ICCO closely cooperates with EuropeAID and ECHO.

EuropeAid is responsible for designing European development policy and delivering aid throughout the world. They promote good governance, human and economic development and tackle universal issues, such as fighting hunger and preserving natural resources.  ICCO receives funding through several programmes.

The European Community Humanitarian Office (ECHO) was created as an expression of European solidarity with people in need all around the world. In 2004 it became the Directorate-General for Humanitarian Aid, for a better coordination and disaster response inside and outside Europe. ICCO receives funding through ECHO since 1992.

As of 1st January 2021 ICCO has joined forces with Cordaid and continues as one organization under the name Cordaid.
