To gain a clear picture and deeper understanding of the impact of interventions we use CARTO data visualizations. Maps help to track results and spatial patterns of aid flowing in our projects.
An example of our mapping and monitoring approach is a project in Ethiopia. CARTO has writtten an interesting story about it.
The goal of the project is to enhance the food security situation of women and people with disabilities in five regions, or “woredas”, that are chronically food insecure. Data were gathered with 2 standardized surveys to 642 people, representing 34,742 people and 1,879 self help groups.
