The current project is designed to transfer the accumulated experience of ACJ-Guatemala in San Cristóbal Verapaz to the municipalities of Tactic and Santa Cruz, in addition to following up on the progress made in San Cristóbal.

The positive experience of ACJ Guatemala with the implementation of the projects in the municipality of San Cristóbal Verapaz made it feasible to extend the initiative to neighbouring municipalities such as Santa Cruz Verapaz and Tactic, both of which share similar characteristics as regards both population and geography, but unfortunately also as concerns the problem of violence against children and adolescents.
