This project aims to incorporate and promote action on organic/sustainable agriculture, restoring and respecting local knowledge and wisdom of small farmers in Northern Potosi. Developing ecological practices that justify assigning economic, technical and human resources to support food security. The project approaches business ventures articulated to rights to food, water, health and economic empowerment.

This project is implemented by PRODII, a non-governmental non-profit organization.

PRODII promote experiences in marketing of agricultural products, which are developed by men and women of indigenous villages and peasant communities of Northern Potosi.

These initiatives are being strengthened since 2011 and one of the most positive results was the positioning of Northern Potosi "agro-biodiverse" products. The project has identified some difficulties, the most important ones are:

- Producer associations are still not competitive in the market for productive and organizational factors, market access and contracts formal signing capacity.
- Spaces are still weak for fostering and promoting products in different scenarios and events.
- Few are the spaces of diffusion, information and advocacy to encourage the consumption of products with organic origin, which ensure a good supply to consumers.
- There is still missing technical and organizational strengthening of women and men of producer associations in management and entrepreneurship skills.

From this challenge and the working experience developed on strengthening producer organizations, the project intervention is warranted, which will strengthen the organizations and make them sustainable.

Climate change pressures food security so agricultural practices that include diversified products are very important for sustainable and resilient climate livelihoods.
