The present IP consists in the use of primary peanuts production for the transformation of innovational products (jam and peanut sauce), in the Guarani indigenous community of the municipality of Yacuiba, with quality and innocuousness for its conservation in the short and medium term. The elaboration of jam and peanut sauce can be made from the assembly of the processing plant that guarantees the minimum requirements of health and food safety.

Background

The production of jam and peanut sauce can be made by assembling a processing plant that guarantees the minimum requirements of health and food safety, characteristics that are required to have the sanitary registration granted by the SENASAG.

At the same time, it seeks to develop capacities in small indigenous Guarani producers in the industrial production of food with quality and safety standards. The potential for growth is evident, since the production process of jam and peanut sauce is not complex and can be adapted to other associations or geographical areas that have the raw material. The partners of Munduvi will also be trained in the industrial production of two products, as well as develop skills for the management and maintenance of machinery, for its subsequent replication in its closest environment in the short and the medium term to Guarani families from five communities.

For this purpose, the acquisition of machinery and equipment and the operations of the peanut processing plant are scheduled.
