Renacer Foundation is a national non-government organization that develop processes of integral attention for boys, girls and adolescents victims of commercial sexual exploitation. Furthermore, it is committed to the research and prevention of this crime.
It develops a structure of intervention that starts on the streets, bars or whorehouses through attention at ambulatory centers; it continues with bringing the child to first level centers for their evaluation, detox, exploration of problems and the preparation of treatment plans; then the child is ascended to residential homes for their process of treatment and rehabilitation; later comes social re-insertion or reintegration of the child to their home and the process ends with follow-up and post-care during two or more years after their reinsertion.
Renacer is the only organization that certifies at the international level the social business responsibility on issues regarding commercial sexual exploitation; this is an initiative led by the private tourism sector in order to promote responsible tourism and protect children and adolescents from CSEC.
