Its a rehabilitation effort to support ICCO's beneficiaries those who affected by a cyclone ROANU in May 2016. Most of the beneficieries lost their crops during the disaster. this project will support them to practoce resilient livelihood options.

Resilient livelihood option in ROANU project, beneficiaries identified cattle and goat rearing within their capacity could make them resilient. Recently project has facilitated to identify different resilient livelihood option among beneficiaries. 45 beneficiaries identified themselves to select IGA on cattle and goat rearing where 27 from hardcore poor and 18 from marginal farmers. Project has contributed bdt 12000/- and 6000/- and beneficiaries contributed themselves are bdt 8265/- and 13767/- respectively. On average beneficiaries contributed 52% in cattle purchase. This make them happier to be proud owner.

Target group

250 HHs where 125 HHs are marginal and 125 are hardcore poor household.
